Public Information Request

The City of Frankston is committed to transparency and open government in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act. Most city records are available to the public upon written request. Requests should clearly describe the information you are seeking and may be submitted by email to cityhall@frankstontx.gov or delivered to City Hall.

The City will promptly respond to all requests. In accordance with state law, the City will make a good faith effort to produce requested information within 10 business days. If the information cannot be produced within that time, the City will notify the requestor in writing of a reasonable date when the information will be available. If the City seeks to withhold any requested information, it will request a ruling from the Office of the Attorney General within 10 business days as required by law.

Fees may be charged for copies, labor, or extensive use of resources in accordance with state guidelines. Certain information may be withheld or redacted as permitted by law.
