Administrative Clerk

The Administrative Clerk provides essential support to the City's daily operations by performing a combination of administrative, financial, and clerical duties. This role assists the City Secretary with records management, reporting, and general office functions while also managing accounts payable, including processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

The position supports audit preparation and ensures compliance with city procedures and applicable regulations. In addition, the clerk serves as a point of contact for customer service and public inquiries, provides cross-departmental support, and assists with continuity of operations through backup support for utility billing and municipal court functions.

The Administrative Clerk also provides training and guidance for the Water and Sewer Clerk position, helping ensure consistency and efficiency in utility operations.

This role is vital to maintaining efficient, accurate, and responsive city services.
