City Secretary

The City Secretary serves as the offical record keeper for the City and provides administrative support to the Mayor and City Council. This office is responsible for preparing agendas, recording minutes, maintaining official records, and ensuring complaince with the Texas Public Information Act and Texas Open Meetings Act.

The City Secretary also assists with grant coordination and administration, supports the City's budgeting process, coordinates elections, manages public notices, and processes public information requests. This role serves as a key connection between the City and the community while helping ensure transparency, organization and effective financial and administrative operations.
